New Eagles LB Paul Worrilow had an air cast placed on his right leg and was carted off after colliding with a teammate during the first day of OTAs. The injury occurred during red zone drills inside the practice bubble. The Eagles signed the veteran in April to add competition to the linebacker position.

Eagles defensive end Brandon Graham recently had surgery on his right ankle and could miss spring workouts, according to sources. The procedure is to promote faster healing on a high ankle sprain suffered on Christmas night against the Raiders. He played through the injury and was a hero in Super Bowl LII, coming up with a strip sack of Tom Brady to seal the win for Philly. Graham is currently in a protective boot. He's expected to report to the NovaCare on Monday as the team opens OTAs.

Eagles' Johnson fed up with Pats' 'arrogance'

The Eagles' Lane Johnson is continuing to take shots at the Patriots, this time taking offense at their "arrogance" in his comments made on Steve Austin's podcast.

Eagles second-round pick TE Dallas Goedert on his mentality as rookie camp opens. "I plan to be the best at whatever I do. I don't come out here to be second string. Not saying I'm going to be the first string, but I plan on doing whatever I can to contribute to this team as fast as I can." The Eagles think they can create some matchup problems with Goedert and Zach Ertz on the field together.

"Don't pause. This is the National Football League! You ain't got no time to pause." Eagles offensive line coach Jeff Stoutland paid lots of attention to former Australian rugby-league player turned offensive lineman Jordan Mailata at the start of the team's rookie minicamp Friday. Mailata has zero football experience, but the coaching staff feels like there is plenty of potential in that 6-foot-8, 350-pound frame.

The Eagles signed former Packers QB Joe Callahan to a two-year contract Monday. With Carson Wentz still on the way back from an ACL and LCL tear, Callahan should get his share of reps this spring and summer. He joins a well-stocked QB room that includes Wentz, Super Bowl MVP Nick Foles and Nate Sudfeld.
