The Browns have signed linebacker Genard Avery, the team's fifth-round pick. The Browns have four draft picks under contract: offensive lineman Austin Corbett (second round), receiver Damion Ratley (sixth) and defensive back Simeon Thomas (sixth).

The Browns signed defensive back Tigie Sankoh, a native of London, England. Sankoh played amateur football and attended the American Football Academy in Bristol before playing for the London Warriors in the British American Football League. He was assigned to the Browns through the NFL's International Development Program. He will not count against the roster until final cutdown. The team also signed quarterback Brogan Roback, who set records for passing touchdowns and total offense at Eastern Michigan.

WR Antonio Callaway, a fourth-round pick by the Cleveland Browns in last week's NFL Draft, made a strong impression with his speed and playmaking ability in Friday's rookie minicamp practice. "He is very, very fast – a fast man," quarterback Baker Mayfield said. "He makes good plays on the ball. When you have a guy like that and you get chemistry down, then it is dangerous." Unfortunately, Callaway had to leave Saturday's practice with a toe injury whose severity is unknown. He fell to the fourth round due to a variety of off-field issues in his past, but if he's healthy and can stay out of trouble, the Browns think he can prove to be a bargain.
