Overview
Brad Jones is a linebacker for the Green Bay Packers, who selected him with the 218th overall pick in the seventh round of the 2009 NFL Draft. Jones played at Colorado, where he played for four seasons, not including a redshirt freshman season. Jones is 6-feet, 4-inches tall and weighs 225 pounds.
College Career
After redshirting the 2004 season, Jones came off the bench in all 13 games for Colorado in 2005. He was a regular starter for each of his final three seasons with the Buffaloes, finishing his career with 150 total tackles (20.0 for loss) and 9.5 sacks. As a senior, he recorded a career-best 78 total tackles, earning honorable mention All-Big 12 honors. His 11.5 tackles for loss led Colorado and ranked 11th in the Big 12 in 2008.
NFL Career
Jones was selected in the seventh round (218th overall) of the 2009 NFL Draft by the Green Bay Packers. Before the 2009 season, Jones signed a four-year/$1.852M contract with Green Bay.
