Nathan Brown is a former quarterback at Central Arkansas and a former Southland Conference Offensive Player of the Year. Brown is 6-feet, 2-inches tall and weighs 214 pounds.
Prep Career
Brown played football and baseball at Russellville High School in Russellville, AR. He threw for 3,385 yards and 33 touchdowns as a senior.
College Career
In four seasons at Central Arkansas, Brown rewrote the Bears record book as a passer. He sat out the 2004 season as a redshirt, then became the starting QB midway through the 2005 season. He missed three games due to injury in 2006, but played every game in 2007 and 2008. Brown finished his career with more than 10,000 passing yards and 100 touchdowns, both of which were school records. He was the Southland Conference Offensive Player of the Year in both 2007 and 2008, Central Arkansas's first two seasons in the conference.
Pro Career
After going undrafted in the 2009 NFL Draft, Brown signed a free-agent contract with the Jacksonville Jaguars. He was waived one week later.
