Overview
Brock Bolen is a fullback on the practice squad of the Jacksonville Jaguars, who signed him as an undrafted free agent in 2009. Bolen joined the Jaguars out of Louisville, where he played for four seasons.
Prep Career
Bolen was the No. 1 ranked fullback in the country by Tom Lemming after a prep career at Valley View High School. He rushed for 108 touchdowns in while at Valley View and was a three-time Most Valuable Player.
College Career
Brock Bolen began his college career at Illinois, where he played mainly on special teams before transferring. After sitting out the 2005 season, Bolen started four games for Louisville in 2006. In 2007, Bolen was second in rushing for the Cardinals with 456 yards and had a 5.2 yard per carry average. That season, he recorded the first 100-yard performance of his career against NC State with a 112-yard performance. As a senior, he set career highs in rushing attempts (124), and yards (508) and matched his career high in rushing touchdowns (seven).
Professional Career
Bolen was eligible to be selected in the 2009 NFL Draft, but went undrafted. He signed as a free agent with the Jacksonville Jaguars. Bolen was waived at the end of the preseason, but was re-signed to the Jaguars practice squad one day later.
