Jaison Williams is a former wide receiver at Oregon, where he became the Ducks second-all-time leading receiver. After catching 174 passes in four seasons at Oregon, Williams was eligible to be selected in the 2009 NFL Draft but went undrafted. He is currently a free agent. Williams is 6-feet, 5-inches tall and weighs 240 pounds.
Prep Career
Williams played tight end at Culver City High School in Culver City, CA. He was the No. 6-ranked tight end prospect in the nation according to Scout.com. After catching 22 passes for 488 yards as a senior, Williams signed with Oregon.
College Career
After a redshirt year in 2004, Williams became a standout wide receiver over the next four seasons for the Ducks. As of 2008, Williams has two of the top 10 single-season reception totals in school history, and his 174 career receptions rank him behind only Sammie Parker on Oregon's all-time list. Williams was a semifinalist for the Biletnikoff Award in 2006, when he caught 68 passes for 984 yards and six touchdowns. He was an honorable mention all-Pac-10 selection in 2007.
Professional Career
Williams was eligible to be selected in the 2009 NFL Draft, but went undrafted. He signed a free-agent contract with the Washington Redskins, but was released before the start of training camp.
