Overview
Trevor Canfield is an offensive lineman for the Seattle Seahawks. Canfield was selected in the 2009 NFL Draft after playing four seasons for the Cincinnati Bearcats. Canfield is 6-feet, 5-inches tall and weighs 311 pounds.
Prep Career
Canfield was a three year starter on the offensive line at Western Hills High School (OH). He was a two-star prospect on Rivals.com.
College Career
After redshirting in 2004, Canfield started three games for the Bearcats in 2005. In 2006, Canfield became a full time starter at guard for Cincinnati. As a senior, Canfield played a key role in leading Cincinnati to its first Big East championship and its first trip to a BCS bowl game.
NFL Career
Canfield was selected in the 7th round (254th overall) in the 2009 NFL Draft by the Arizona Cardinals. He signed a three-year/$1.211M contract with the Cardinals prior to his rookie season, but was cut following the 2009 preseason. He was signed to the practice squad two days later. On Dec. 30, 2009, Canfield was signed off the Cardinals practice squad by the Seattle Seahawks. He was inactive for the Seahawks regular season finale, and did not play a game in 2009.
