Pat McAfee is a placekicker for the Indianapolis Colts, who selected him with the 222nd overall pick in the seventh round of the 2009 NFL Draft. McAfee spent four seasons as a kicker and punter for the West Virginia Mountaineers. He is 6-feet, 1-inch tall and weighs 221 pounds.
Prep Career
McAfee attended Plum High in Plum, PA, where 80-percent of his kickoffs went into the end zone. While in high school he won the One-on-One kicking competition in Miami with a 65-yard field goal. He was rated the No. 1 kicker in the nation by Scout.com and verbally committed to Kent State before deciding to attend West Virginia.
College Career
At West Virginia, McAfee finished his career with 58 made field goals and 210 made extra points. In 2008, he finished the season 17-of-20 on field goals and converted all 36 extra point attempts he faced. He was also two-for-two on field goals that were 50-yards or more as a senior.

McAfee was also the primary punter for West Virginia in both 2007 and 2008. For his career, he averaged 43.7 yards per punt on 126 punts.

Following his senior season, McAfee was invited to participate in the 2009 Senior Bowl, where he went 5-for-5 on extra point attempts in the South team's win.
NFL Career
Pat McAfee was selected in the seventh round (222nd overall) of the 2009 NFL Draft by the Indianapolis Colts. Before the 2009 season, McAfee signed a four-year contract with Indianapolis.

McAfee served as the Colts punter and kickoff specialist in 2009. He finished the regular season 20th in the NFL in net punting average, then punted 10 times in the Colts two playoff wins leading up to Super Bowl XLIV. McAfee punted twice for an average of 45.0 yards in the Colts Super Bowl loss to the Saints.
Other Athletics
McAfee spent a brief period of time in 2008 as a member of the West Virginia men's soccer team. He joined the team in the Winter of 2008 and trained with them for two months before quitting to focus on Spring football practice.

McAfee has also performed as a professional wrestler, winning his debut in IWA East Coast Wrestling in March of 2009.
