Off the field, Casillas was involved in an incident during his senior year, when he was cited for driving under the influence. On August 24, 2008, he was stopped by a university police officer, and a breath test showed his blood alcohol level to be 0.15, nearly twice the Wisconsin legal limit. He did not face any jail time for the incident and did not miss any playing time. He did sit out the first two games of the 2008 season due to a sprained MCL in his left knee.
Professional Career
Casillas was eligible to be selected in the 2009 NFL Draft, but went undrafted. He signed a free-agent contract with the New Orleans Saints and earned a spot on the 53-man roster.
