Overview
Fui Vakapuna is a fullback for the Cincinnati Bengals, who drafted him with the 215th overall pick in the seventh round of the 2009 NFL Draft. Vakapuna attended BYU, where he played for four seasons (not including a redshirt freshman year). Vakapuna is 6-feet, 1-inch tall and weighs 253 pounds.
Prep Career
Vakapuna was a three-year letterwinner at East High School in Glendale, UT. He rushed for 1,107 yards as a senior while catching 20 passes for 215 yards and handling punt and kickoff return duties.
College Career
Vakapuna redshirted the 2002 season, then played eight games for the Cougars in 2003. After serving a two-year mission, Vakapuna returned to BYU in 2006 and rushed for a combined 988 yards over the next three seasons.
NFL Career
Vakapuna was selected in the seventh round (215th overall) of the 2009 NFL Draft by the Cincinnati Bengals. He was cut by the team prior to the 2009 season.

Vakapuna was signed to the practice squad of the Arizona Cardinals on Sept. 8, 2009. On Nov. 4, 2009, Vakapuna re-joined the Bengals, who signed him off Arizona's practice squad.
