Overview
Keenan Lewis is a cornerback for the Pittsburgh Steelers. Lewis played four seasons for Oregon State University before being selected by the Steelers in the third roud of the 2009 NFL Draft. Lewis is 6-feet, 1-inch tall and weighs 196 pounds.
Prep Career
In 2004, Lewis was a two-star recruit according to Rivals.com after playing his high school ball at O. Perry Walker High School (LA).
College Career
Lewis redshirted in 2004 and was named the defensive scout team MVP that season. As a redshirt freshman in 2005 Lewis stepped into the starting lineup, a position he held for all four seasons at Oregon State.
NFL Career
Lewis was selected in the third round (96th overall) in the 2009 NFL Draft by the Pittsburgh Steelers. Before the 2009 season, Lewis signed a three-year contract with the Steelers.
Personal
A native of New Orleans, Lewis' family was displaced during Hurricane Katrina. His family moved in with relatives in Houston during that time.
