Overview
Nader Abdallah is a former defensive tackle at Ohio State University, where he played four seasons. After exhausting his eligibility with the Buckeyes, Abdallah went undrafted in the 2009 NFL Draft. Abdallah is 6-feet, 4-inches tall and weighs 300 pounds.
Prep Career
A native of Metairie, LA, Abdallah was a standout at Archbishop Rummel. In his senior season, Abdallah recorded 76 tackles, 11 quarterback sacks, and two interceptions in eight games. His high school accomplishments led him to starting in the U.S. Army All-American game.
Freshman Year
Following a redshirt season in 2004, Nader played in four contests during the 2005 season, with his lone tackle of the year (an assist) coming against Miami (OH). That 2005 season proved to be very tough for Abdallah. His family's home in Metairie was destroyed by Hurricane Katrina, forcing the family to move to Columbus with very few belongings.
Sophomore Year
Abdallah added much needed depth to the Buckeye defensive line in 2006, seeing action in four games on the season.
Junior Year
As a junior in 2007, Abdallah began to turn the corner. He started eight games and finished the season with 19 tackles.
Senior Year
Abdallah finally began to reach his potential as a senior in 2008. Playing in all 13 games, Abdallah finished the season, with 33 tackles, six tackles for loss, four pass break-ups, a sack and a fumble recovery.
Professional Career
Abdallah went undrafted in the 2009 NFL Draft. He signed a free-agent contract with the Jacksonville Jaguars, but was waived on June 4, 2009.

On Aug. 5,, Abdallah signed with the Baltimore Ravens. He was cut at the end of the preseason.
