Between Eugene Monroe and Aaron Curry, there is a strong possibility the Rams will select a player from the ACC. It would be the fifth time they've drafted a player in the first round from the ACC.

    BCS Championship Game Provides Few...

    This year's BCS Championship game teams, Oklahoma and Florida, had a combined total of eight (8) players selected in this year's draft. Since the BCS era began, this is the least number of players selected in the NFL Draft (1999-present) from the two schools combined that played in the BCS National Championship game.

    Succop is Mr. Irrelevant

    Ryan Succop is the first Mr. Irrelevant selected by the Chiefs since Rayford Jenkins in 1970. He's also the first kicker to be Mr. Irrelevant since Akron's Daron Alcorn in 1999 (Bucs). Succop is the 2nd Mr. Irrelevant from the SEC in the last 3 years (CB Ramzee Robinson, Lions, 2007).

    Kent State Sends Another QB to NFL...

    Kent State WR Julian Edelman played QB in college and was 4th in the MAC in total offense last season. Current Browns WR Joshua Cribbs was also a QB at Kent State before switching to WR. Edelman also led all FBS QB in rushing last season with 1,370 yards.

    Demetrius Byrd (224th overall, Chargers) is the 8th LSU wide receiver drafted this decade. This is the 3rd consecutive year an LSU wide receiver has been draft.

    Arizona State Draft Streak Lives

    With Paul Fanaika being selected 213th by the Eagles, Arizona State has now had a player selected in EVERY NFL draft since 1961.
